Ripe and supple, offering a mélange of black fruits – cherries, raspberries and sweet plums, with shades of red lending nuance – joined by wild flowers, spice and a subtle core of minerality. Beautiful clarity, great palate presence and length. Those 80 year old vines really sing. This is delicious now, but best with at least a couple years cellar time.
